We stayed in a small Japanese apartment with all the cooking utensils needed to cook at home, and it was handy to buy food from a nearby mart. The heating and electric kettle can trip the circuit breaker, but it’s easy to reset near the bathroom. The fridge didn’t work, and the 7th floor wasn’t as nice as the picture, but it was simple and easy to get in and out. Being between Akihabara and Ueno made getting around really convenient, and we slept well. Our only bummer was having to use just one big towel for 4 days-some extra towels would’ve been great.
