Beds were comfortable with charging ports on the headboards and futon mattresses that were firm but not hard, the bathroom was more spacious than most with a powerful shower and water heater that worked well, and the kitchenette was surprisingly well equipped with a cold fridge. The apartment was spotless, compact yet spacious enough for Japan standards, had toiletries including shampoo and spare toothbrushes, an iron, hairdryer, and easy check-in instructions from the host. The location was excellent in Shinjuku close to restaurants, shops, public transport stations on a quiet street but near a bustling high street.
