Masa and his wife Yuri were exceptional hosts who welcomed warmly and gave many local tips while the house had traditional tatami mats, old beams, modern amenities, free tea and water, cutlery for own food, and 100+ Mbit connectivity. The location was peaceful in a quieter part of Sumida close to multiple underground stations with a charming less touristy neighborhood near Skytree. The bathroom had an excellent shower room and the place served delicious food at two tables during the day.
