Friendly staff greeted with a smile and helpful reception was there. The room was clean, well-designed, modern, with a spacious bathroom and small kitchen area on the fifth floor for heating meals and washing dishes. Laundry area had a dryer that did not work well. The hotel was quiet in Ueno near a park, about 15 minutes walk from Ueno Station, close to Daiso and Takeya shops offering tax-free returns. Lobby had an area to pick up toiletries and provided hot and cold drinking water, front doors locked after 11 p.m., entry required passcode then.
