Directions to the hostel:
From Keisei-Ueno Train Station, take the Main exit. Turn right and walk along Chuo Street bound for Akihabara (not for JR Ueno station) for about 400 metres. At the end of the side-walk, you will find a cafe named "Veloce" on the other side of the street as a landmark. Turn right and go straight for about 100 metres. The property is located opposite Ueno First City Hotel.
From the South Exit of JR Okachimachi Train Station, turn left and walk along the railway bound for Akihabara (not for JR Ueno Station) for about 50 metres. Turn right at the Golf Shop and walk about 100 metres. Cross the street at the intersection of Chuo Street in the same direction. Walk about another 100 metres.
From Yushima Subway Station (Chiyoda Subway Line), go out from Exit 6 and follow the path to your right. Turn right at the first intersection.
Take Keisei Skyliner Train, which offers non-stop service to Keisei Ueno Train Station in about 40 minutes.
Alternatively you can take non-express trains to Keisei Ueno Train Station. Guests can also get off the train at Nippori Station, and transfer to the JR Yamanote Line to Okachimachi Station. JR Okachimachi Station is situated closer to the Hotel.
You can also take JR Narita Express if you have a JR Rail Pass.
Take Monorail to Hamamatsu-cho Station and change to JR Yamanote Line to Okachimachi station.

Helpful staff waited for us to check in after midnight and assisted with late luggage delivery. The location was excellent, close to Yushima and Okachimachi stations, convenience stores, DonQ, Ueno Park, Ameyoko Shopping Street, and many food options. Comfortable beds were provided in a recently renovated budget hotel near multiple train stations.
