We found a cosy and luxurious spot in Asakusa with great facilities like tatami mats, indoor and outdoor onsens, vending machines, laundry, and a library. The little extras like free ramen at night and ice cream made the stay feel special, and even during busy December times, it felt quite intimate if we skipped peak onsen hours, plus, the staff kept in touch when we left something behind until our friend picked it up.
